Mark F. Bayley has litigated cases in over twenty-five counties in Pennsylvania and is in the courtroom on a daily basis. While he currently involves himself mainly in family law and criminal matters, recent achievements include a $2.1 million civil jury award on behalf of clients in Lancaster County.

Mark is the second attorney in his family. His father, Edgar B. Bayley, worked in a variety of legal roles in Cumberland County beginning in 1964 and retired from his position as Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas President Judge in 2009. Mark's mother, Mary K. Bayley, a registered nurse, retired from her school nursing position with Harrisburg School District in 2006.

Mark was employed as a judicial law clerk to Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas Judge Edward E. Guido from 1999 to 2001 and began his legal practice in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in 2001. Bayley & Mangan was founded in 2006.

Mark is married to wife, Anne, and his off-duty activities mainly include entertaining three boys, Jackson, Rowan and Leo.

Background

John J. Mangan has litigated cases in over twenty-one counties in Pennsylvania and is in the courtroom on a daily basis. Since 2007 he has been appointed by the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas as a custody conciliator in Cumberland County. He additionally serves Cumberland County in his appointed role as a juvenile court advocate wherein he routinely represents family members in relation to cases brought by Cumberland County Children and Youth Services.

Besides being heavily involved in family law litigation, John often involves himself in criminal defense as well as other legal areas.

John grew up in Apalachin, New York, and attended Owego Free Academy. He then attended Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, and thereafter the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in Carlisle. From 1999 to 2000 he was employed as a judicial law clerk to Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas Judge Kevin A. Hess.

John began his legal career in a general practice firm in Harrisburg. He thereafter moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and was employed at a firm primarily focusing on civil litigation and personal injury claims. In addition, he assisted in running a gubernatorial political campaign. He was then employed by a construction litigation firm defending professional liability claims against architects and engineers.

In 2004 John returned to Carlisle and in 2006 Bayley & Mangan was founded.

John is married to wife, Corrine, and in his free time is kept busy by their five children.
